Our Services
Legal practitioners, like Solicitors and Barristers, can be costly. Hence, when people require legal services, they now tend to turn to Paralegals, who can often carry out the work for a percentage of the cost of a solicitor.
We can help with:
01
Business Solutions
02
Legal Guidance
03
Non-Binding Mediation Services
04
Debt Recovery and Debt Defence
Business solutions include the creation of contracts, terms and conditions, disclaimers and agreements. Moreover, we can assist with the processing of applications and general legal guidance too.
Non-binding mediation involves a neutral mediator listening to both parties views and helps with negotiating a settlement to the dispute. Furthermore, mediation can be much more cost-effective and time-effective than going to court - but it isn't suitable for all cases. The mediation we can assist with is non-binding as the process is a negotiation and can often be less costly than Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
At Pendular Paralegal Services, we can assist you in recovering monies lawfully owed to you. For example, from unpaid invoices, compensation and monies due from a breach of contract. Furthermore, we can assist with the preparation of both claim forms and court proceedings. However, this is not an exhaustive list.
However, we cannot help with Reserved Activities as these require a solicitor:
01
Right of Audience
02
Conduct of Litigation
03
Probate, Notarial and Conveyancing Activities
04
Administration of Oaths
Moreover, as Paralegals, we cannot appear in court on behalf of our clients or conduct proceedings. Only Solicitors have the right of audience and can conduct litigation on your behalf.
Paralegal Fees
The average hourly rate of a Paralegal is between £120 to £190. Conversely, a Solicitor's average hourly rate can be between £170 to £515. Moreover, this can differ depending on the grade of the Solicitor and their area. Hence, unless you are looking for legal assistance with a reserved activity, it may be beneficial for you to utilise the services of a Paralegal.
